Another Did you know that?.
- We have all read, been taught and reminded of the importance of setting well defined finite goals. Many goal setting practices involve a defined measurable number: how much money I want make, how much business I want to do, etc. The reality is goal setting from this perspective is wrong and actually limiting.
- The proper way to look at goal setting is to focus on “process goals” rather than “end result goals” . Yes, knowing generally where you need to end up is important, but it shouldn’t be the goal. Rather, the goal must be the processes you will include or change that will lead to increase production. For example, making your goal to “brand effectively and consistently via mailing, social media etc”, is a process goal. If you set your goals based on the process rather than the end results, your probability of creating sustainable growth increases tremendously.
