- We make decisions and choices, at least initial ones, based on familiarity and what other people, similar to us, do. As much as we would like to think we make rational , well thought out decisions based on information, we don’t . In fact, we don’t read the information but rather remember who sent it much more. If we see a name over and over again, our mind will become familiar with it and start to perceive that person as successful and an expert. The important fact here is repetition and consistency. If you look at your branding campaign as a call to action, you will be disappointed and often stop. If you look at it as a repetition and consistency campaign , you are more likely to continue. Mailing to the same “farm” area every two weeks, social media postings 5 times a week and email campaign weekly. Mental Penetration of a group of prospects is key. This goes for your past clients as well. Remember, referrals is who you know, not what you know!!!
